Don't Let The Door Hit You In The Tuchis

May 31, 2007

Have you ever had one of those guests that just won't leave, no matter what hints you give him? You hand him his coat, lead him to the door, open it, and say goodnight and yet he still won't go? Well, that's exactly what's happening in Israel...

PM Olmert, with a 3% approval rating before the Winograd Commission Report (which was duly critical of his ineptitude) was released, refuses to go. He blamed everyone he could, even the soldiers...but never blamed the one truly culpable for the failure of the Lebanon War: Himself. A leader is elected to serve his people...protect the citizenry and the sovereignty of the country. Here he has failed miserably.

Israel has been shamed before the world. Their military prowess has been damaged. The Israeli people are more vulnerable to their enemies than ever before. Olmert's insistence that the war was a victory, in light of the results, makes one wonder if he meant to accomplish the pregnable situation Israel now faces.

When a leader with character ceases to serve the people, he steps down from office. But the key here is character, something Olmert is greatly wanting.

With all due respect, Olmert needs to be told, "For the good of the nation, don't let the door hit you in the tuchis on the way OUT!"

What Our Nation Needs

May 30, 2007

With our nation currently in the throes of war--it is a sad commentary that a prissy, self- absorbed, narcissistic, presidential wannabe can tell the families of fallen soldiers that their loved ones died for a "bumper sticker slogan."

Truth be told, it is this very form of malignant and virulent discourse that has greatly angered so many patriotic Americans.

In a time of war our nation needs dedicated leaders--not egotistical pretty-boys who demean our fallen heroes and their families.

Their Only Strategy: Destroy Israel

May 29, 2007

In order to get a grip on the situation in Israel, one must understand how Muslims generally view Israel. And specifically, how Hamas (part of the PA) views Israel.

The following are statements by Hamas leaders concerning Israel and the Jewish people:

Dr. Khalil Al-Hayyah, member of the Hamas political leadership and the Palestinian Legislative Council:
“The Hamas movement bases its strategy and its policy on that the option of resistance is the only option that can liberate Palestine from its [Mediterranean] sea to its [Jordan] river [ie destroy Israel].”
[Al-Risalah, Hamas newspaper, April 19, 2007]

Hamas spokesman, Dr. Ismail Radwan, confirmed …that his movement will not recognize any existence of the Israeli enemy on an inch of Palestinian land and said, “We will liberate Palestine, all of Palestine...Palestine will not be liberated by negotiations, committees and decisions, it will only be liberated by the rifle and the “Al-Qassam” [rocket]. Therefore, prepare yourselves.”
[Al-Risalah, Hamas newspaper, April 9, 2007]

Video of Ahmad Yassin, founder and former head of Hamas, about future destruction of Israel, broadcast regularly March – May 2007:
“Tel Aviv is gone. They are defeated, they have no words left. ... When this process will end, they will become a state with no ability, helpless. They established a state to protect the Jews from death and murder. If death and murder chase them in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Netanya and everywhere among them, then they will say: 'What am I doing here? I founded a state to protect me from death, and if death chases me, I want to flee and go back to Europe and America.'” [Al Aqsa TV, regularly, March – May 2007]

Former Foreign Minister and Hamas leader Mahmoud Al-Zahhar:
"Our position is the liberation of Palestine, all of Palestine. This is the final and strategic solution for us. There is a Quranic message for us, that we will enter the Al-Aqsa mosque, and the entrance to the mosque means the entrance into all of Palestine. This is the message, no one can deny it. Anyone who denies it must check his faith and his Islam.”
[Al-Ayyam, March 25, 2007]

"The representative of the Legislative Council, Dr. Yussuf Al-Sharafi, of the ‘Change and Reform’ faction [Hamas], emphasized the option of Jihad and resistance to banish the thieves of the occupation, who longed to drink the blood of our massacred people... because the Jewish faith does not wish for peace nor stability, since it is a faith that is based on murder: ‘I kill, therefore I am’ … Israel is based only on blood and murder in order to exist, and it will disappear, with Allah’s will, through blood and Shahids [martyrs]."
[Al-Risalah, Hamas newspaper, April 12, 2007]

This is the result of years of virulent propaganda on the part of the late (thank G-d) Yasser Arafat and his ilk...all backed up by the Quran. This reasoning and mindset cannot be negotiated, appeased or hugged away. This is deeply rooted bigotry that has led to the death of thousands of innocent Jews. This is the same philosophy as the Nazis embraced...which led to the death of 6 million innocent Jews.

Where will it stop? Only the G-d of Israel knows. And in the meanwhile...Israel must be cautious what it agrees to...and remember the result of the Oslo Accords.

Isaiah (Yisheyah) said it best in chapter 28, verse 15: "We have signed a treaty with death, and made a contract with the grave..."

May it never be again...

It Will Be The Death Of Us All

May 25, 2007

America is now officially mired in the fever swamps of political correctness.

To simply state the truth (all terrorists are Muslim, illegal-immigrants should be deported, etc.) one runs the risk of being labeled a racist, bigot, Islamophobe or xenophobe.

Unfortunately, this is having a deleterious effect on our nation. When the truth is shunned in order to pander to certain individuals or groups, the rule of law comes under assault.

Thus, America becomes perilously vulnerable to those seeking to undermine it.

A wise man once said: Political correctness will be the death of us all.

And it will.

Norway: Famous For Fjords, Oslo & Schmendriks

May 24, 2007

You know, with the report that Norway is about to transfer $10 million into the PA's coffers, and the Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere's comment, "I urge others to follow"...you can't help but wonder if these guys are busy falling on their heads into fjords*

What exactly has to happen for these schmendriks** to realize that Hamas is a terrorist organization? Do they need Qassams, courtesy of their feckless generosity, to land on their dense noggins to see clearly? Well, with their help, that just may happen. (And I'm sure Israel will get the blame.)

Ignoring that the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PCPSR) polls showed that more than two-thirds of Palestinian Arabs (67%) oppose Hamas recognizing Israel's right to exist, and that the Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the PCPSR found that 57% of Palestinian Arabs support terrorist attacks upon Israeli civilians...why is Norway ready to support a government (which the EU and the US reject) run by barbaric thugs?

It makes the sane want to emulate Munch's "Scream."

Polls not enough proof? How about the constant declarations from Hamas leaders (supported by the people) that Israel will be wiped off the map and replaced by a Palestinian State?

Apparently, hosting the Oslo Accords wasn't a heinous enough gift from their homeland...they want to finish the job by directly funding the terror.

The next time these descendents of the Vikings strike out from their fjords, they might try a journey for the truth...and start in Israel.

*fjord - long, narrow, deep inlet of the sea between

           steep slopes.

**schmendrik - someone who's clueless

A Commonsense Alternative

May 23, 2007

There is a viable and commonsense alternative to the catastrophic immigration bill that is currently being proposed: Seal the border and issue draconian fines to employers that hire illegal aliens.

By implementing these two measures--we would

not only prevent further illegal migration from Mexico and beyond, but we would also wither employment opportunities to illegals currently in the country.

And as a result, all illegals will eventually have no choice but to return to their country of origin.

Those that rather demagogue the issue (than engage in substantive debate) will no doubt call this choice bigoted, racist and anti-immigrant --but I call it a commonsense alternative.

Dems: Still Providing Aid And Comfort To The Enemy

May 22, 2007

At such a time as this, the last thing America needs is seditious and defeatist politicians.

Facing a savage enemy (determined to establish a global, Islamic hegemony)--we have no time for the rhetorical subversion of Obama, Clinton, Edwards and Reid.

After all, seditious commentary ("the Iraq war is lost") only serves to strengthen the Islamists --whose core fixation is beheading "pigs" and "infidels."

Truth be told: The last thing America needs is a gaggle of politicos whose only goal is to provide aid and comfort to the enemy.

US Media's Chosen Blindness

May 21, 2007

Those of us who follow the news in Israel on a daily basis know what is and has been going on regularly in the town of Sderot...a constant barrage of Qassams rockets out of Gaza (the true 'Palestinian' state) upon innocent Israeli men, women and children.

Of course, this is being covered by the American media...NOT.

The only coverage that seems to be given air time is when Israel retaliates in defense of their national security. Even stations identifying themselves as 'fair and balanced' have been infected by a disease of chosen blindness, care of the EU and world media.

The tiny Jewish democracy can't seem to get a fair shake...even in the greatest democracy in the world. Despite the amazing fact that the US government has shown absolute understating of Israel's position exhibited by the State Department's spokesman Sean McCormack's comment that Israel has the right to defend itself, the US media continues its anti-Israel coverage revealed in the most recent incident when the IAF carried out several targeted attacks on Hamas installations throughout the Gaza Strip.

But the important distinction is that the IAF targets those terrorists attacking innocent Israelis, which is never established...while the PA-sanctioned terrorists target civilians...also never established.

It's time that the US media raise the bar of fairness regarding Israel...if they have an ounce of journalistic principles.

Time For A Competency Test?

May 17, 2007

I have often wondered if the occupants of the State Dept. watch or read the news concerning the Middle East. In report after report, Hamas et al have been seen in full view bombing innocent Israelis. They [Hamas] never ceased these attacks during the so-called ceasefire.

As you read this, Israeli men, women and children are living in fear for their lives in Sderot, having Kassams lobbed upon them, unanswered by the Olmert government. The PA has done nothing in compliance with the "roadmap" to peace. And yet, the State Dept. is ostensibly oblivious to these facts.

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has proposed a set of compromises for Israel (what a surprise)...and they all rollback security and endanger the lives of innocent Israelis. These "benchmarks" are chiefly for Israel to increase Palestinian freedom of movement. Oh, and yes, there are some steps for the PA to combat Palestinian terror (apparently for comic relief). But here's the catch, it does not make either path conditional upon the other. So, if Israel accepts the proposal, it would be promising to fulfill its own side of the bargain whether or not the PA honors theirs.

So, what else is new?

COME ON...with all the brilliant minds in the State Dept., why are they reasoning like morons? Do they believe more dead innocent Israelis is a good result? Because that is exactly what will happen if things proceed as they desire.

Perhaps it's time for a competency test in this prestigious department...for it doesn't appear that the members of State are dealing with reality.

Nothing More Than A Toxic Cesspool

May 16, 2007

With Gaza in full conflagration, and on the brink

of collapse, Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas stated "We have said that we are going to give the politics a chance, but we are not going to drop our weapons until the occupation evacuates our land and justice and security and peace prevail."

Perhaps someone needs to remind Haniyeh that

the 'occupation' ended last summer when Israel

withdrew from Gaza. Thus, the bloody violence that currently engulfs the region cannot be blamed on the Jewish State.

But, anti-Semites like Haniyeh will always point the finger of culpability at Israel. After all, it is much easier to use this established scapegoat than to admit that Arab civilization is nothing more than a toxic cesspool.

Why No Obsession Over This Killer?

May 15, 2007

Our nation's obsession with anti-smoking laws are driven by the following fact: Smoking

dramatically shortens the users life.

Medical data demonstrates that the average lifespan of a male cigarette smoker is 62 years of age (some 15 years below the US national average).

Yet, with this obsession explicitly linked to lifespan, one would surmise that another life-shorting activity (homosexuality) would be targeted for extinction as well.

Not so.

Even though the average lifespan of a homosexual is 42 years of age (some 35 years below the US national average) there is no obsession afoot to eradicate it.

And as long as this activity (and those who engage in it) is protected by spineless policy-makers, politicians and judges--there never will be.

Olmert's Favorite Color: Yellow

May 14, 2007

It's like watching a car wreck...PM Olmert's ever-dropping poll numbers (last count it was 3%) are apparently not low enough...

Upon the release of the testimony given before the Winograd Commission, all of Israel and the world were able to see what a lack of character was embodied in their current government. In typical liberal fashion, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Defense Minister Amir Peretz, and former IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz all took turns blaming each other for the horrendous failure of last summer's Lebanon war. True men of character would have taken responsibility for their failures and stepped down in order to cause the harvest of embarrassment for their country to abate. But not these clowns.

Olmert then claimed that he was confused and had 'feelings' (how liberal) of being overwhelmed upon taking the reigns of power (which he claimed in campaigning that he could handle) following the hospitalization of former prime minister Ariel Sharon.

Wah, Wah, Wah.

And if that wasn't despicable enough, the PM made things far worse...he stated that, "I think the army seriously let itself down."

Nice job.

When you major in cowardice, just blame those under your command. So what's the difference between Olmert and having an enemy within? Not much. Imagine blaming the troops for following your feckless commands?

How contemptible.

Olmert's favorite color makes me sick. And I'm sure the Israeli people have see enough yellow for a lifetime. It's time for the Israelis to show him the door...or better yet, give his tuchis the boot.

Freedom Alliance: Today's Barnabas

May 11, 2007

In a ever-growing culture of self-serving celebs and their adoring idol-worshippers, it's comforting to know there is an organization shining the light of selfless, service to our unsung heroes and their families...

As Barnabas of the tribe of Levi, 'son of consolation' was, so is Freedom Alliance. An organization whose mission "is to advance the American heritage of freedom by honoring and encouraging military service, defending the sovereignty of the United States and promoting a strong national defense"...is busy under the radar serving in pragmatic ways to undergird our military families and troops. And with humble servant-leaders at the helm such as President Thomas Kilgannon and Founder and Honorary Chair Oliver North...the mission is sure to be accomplished.

Some of their programs include the Freedom Alliance Military Leadership Academy focused on teaching America's teenagers how to lay a solid foundation upon which they can build to become successful adults and a positive influence in the culture, Public Policy resources to keep the citizenry informed which is vital to the defense of American freedom, the Hannity Freedom Concerts and Troop Rallies and the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund which honors the courage and dedication displayed by Americans in our Armed Forces, who have sacrificed life or limb defending our great country, by providing educational scholarships to their children.

If you desire to show our military, and their families, that you truly care and support them, please click on the image below and put your money where your heart is...you will never regret it:

Rosanne: Right Now, I'm Not Laughing

May 10, 2007

Will it ever end...the Hollywood celebs that can't help but bash Israel? This week, another one joined the bandwagon...

Chubby comedienne, Rosanne Barr, took the opportunity this week, in her blog, to blast Israel as a "walled-in ghetto in the Middle East" and to proclaim that she is a follower of Jesus Chris.

Really?

Ms. Barr, came from a Jewish background, as I did...but I must say, she's a little confused. So, she now thinks that it's OK to bash Israel (which the G-d of Israel defends) and that her harsh condemnation is OK with her new found faith in the 'kabbalist' Jesus Christ? Well, I think the Jewish carpenter that I follow, and she claims to follow, would have a problem with that. She states in her blog, "I must in good conscience speak out against injustice especially when the agents of that injustice invoke God." Well, the only injustice going on in the Holy Land is that by the so-called 'palestinians' toward innocent Jews. Never heard a peep about that from this bloated blogger. They use the name of their god Allah to kill innocent Jews on a daily basis. If that's not injustice, what is?

Personally, as a Messianic Jew, I'm tired of the liberal, self-hating Jews in Hollywood bashing Israel. Ms. Barr should stick to what she does best...making people laugh, because right now...I'm not laughing.

A Jew-Free World

May 9, 2007

Now that Hamas (the prolifically anti-Semitic terrorist organization) is using 'Mickey Mouse' to instruct Palestinian children to hate Jews, what's next?

Perhaps Sponge Bob instructional videos on how to assemble a lunchbox bomb?

Manifestly certain groups will not rest until

the Jews have been violently exterminated from the face of the earth. And despite copious inducements from the US, EU and UN--these groups (Palestinians, Hamas, Hizbollah, etc.) will

not forsake their genocidal fantasies.

In the final analysis, Hamas (et al) will use every

tool at its disposal (including Mickey Mouse) in order to accomplish its goal: A Jew-free world.

And Its Color Is White

May 8, 2007

It is disturbingly obvious that a certain segment of our society would rather surrender than fight the War on Terror.

Led by prominent lawmakers, this segment (via rhetorical capitulation) has repeatedly given aid and hope to al Quaeda and its sadistic cronies.

From comparing American troops to Nazis, to declaring the war in Iraq lost--this segment has

labored feverishly to weaken our collective resolve and undermine our national security.

Truth is, this segment only pledges alliance to one flag: And its color is white.

Belgium Gets It Right

May 7, 2007

This week, Belgium finally did something admirable...they denied a minister of the PA, a Hamas member, from entering the country.

The PA's Youth and Sports Minister (he must be in charge of youth bomb belts) Bassem Naim, a member of the terrorist group Hamas, landed in Brussels on a flight from Egypt after being approved for a visa by Dutch authorities in Tel Aviv. But he was prohibited from leaving the plane by Dutch police.

It's up and it's good...

The Dutch Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Dadou said Naim had been approved for a visa but that it was withdrawn before he departed,  because background checks revealed his Hamas affiliation. Dutch authorities contacted Naim and made it unequivocal that he would be unable to pass through Dutch immigration control. But in typical histrionic PA style, he departed anyway in order to make a spectacle at the airport.

This dramatic scene, played for the PA-loving media, was a true set-up for the statement by a representative of the London-based Palestinian Return Center, "What happened on the flight was the humiliation of the Palestinian people."

Don't you just love the way the PA pulls the "palestinian people" out of their pocket whenever they want to garner sympathy from the world? Meanwhile, they use, abuse and subject their 'people' to poverty, torture and death...all using the world's money...with a large amount coming from the US.

So, here's to Belgium for not caving in to the antics of the PA (and their favorite half, Hamas)...let's hope they [Belgium] will continue to display this type of noble character.

Sharia Makes Its Way 'Across The Pond'

May 3, 2007

Believe it or not, Sharia courts have been set up in major towns, including the home town of the 7/7 London bombings ringleader, to impose Islamic Sharia law and enable Muslims to flout the British legal system.

Just additional evidence of the pernicious results of political correctness...

Mohammed Siddique Khan, the 7/7 ringleader,  was responsible for the Edgware Road Circle Line blast which killed 6 people and injured 120. A Sharia court system has been set up in the heart of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, which is now the model for others popping up across the country,  all operating beyond the British legal process. The court is called the Sharee Council, an alternative term for Sharia, and functions as a Muslim judiciary making decisions by which participants must abide.

Not familiar with Sharia law? Sharia law imposes theocracy over democracy, does not regard human rights, discriminates, denies human dignity and individual autonomy and implements barbaric punishments.

Got the picture? Certainly not pretty, but now is the time for our cousins 'across the pond' to stand up and say, "Enough!"

If they don't, it will be a blow to the West and freedom-loving people everywhere.

Our Very Survival Depends On It

May 2, 2007

It is morally imperative that all Americans understand the following: Our nation is at war

with adherents of a twisted ideology (Islam) that calls for the violent and brutal subjugation of all non-believers.

And contrary to established, liberal thought: A hasty withdrawal from Iraq will do nothing to assuage these bloodthirsty fanatics who seek to

slit our throats.

In fact, a swift exit from Mesopotamia would only serve to supercharge them and their legions. Thus, creating a safe heaven by which they can launch terrorists attacks against us and our allies.

Again, it is morally imperative that all Americans understand this. After all--our very survival depends on it.

Dems: Doing Whatever It Takes To Lose

May 1, 2007

The Democrat Party is, without question--a national disgrace. On the most pressing issue of our time (the Iraq War) its leaders have chosen cowardice over confronting Islamo-terrorism and demagoguery over substantive debate.

The party's strategy for Iraq is clear: Cut and run. Why? Well, the reasons are myriad (including a lack of testicular resilience)--but the most glaring is political expediency.

The truth is, the Dem party will do whatever it takes to win in '08--and that includes losing in Iraq. And, as we have just witnessed (with the passing of a vitiated supplemental bill)--the party will even resort to breaching The Constitution in order to subvert the war effort.

A national disgrace? You bet.
