Kneading The Truth

It must be arduous work for the paltering proponents of 'palestinians' to keep up their lies in order to get their way...after a while they have to falter in their palter...
Case in point...the Boston Globe did a piece on Gaza entitled, "Ending the Stranglehold on Gaza," in which they state that Gaza requires 680,000 tons of flour daily to feed its population. Further stating that Israel had cut this to 90 tons per day by November 2007.
The Jerusalem Post (JPost) pointed out that since Gaza has a population of 1.5
million, then 680,000 tons of flour a day comes out to almost half a ton of
flour per Gazan, per day.
Must be the 'new math'!
The Globe must have made a typo, right? Not according to the JPost. The Globe writers copied it from an piece published in the Ahram Weekly last November, which stated that "the price of a bag of flour has risen 80 per cent, because of the 680,000 tonnes the Gaza Strip needs daily, only 90 tonnes are permitted to enter."
This is so typical of the lies that go forth on behalf of the Palestinian Authority (PA) worldwide (can anyone say Muhammad al-Durrah?). Like one of the PA's favorite propagandist Josef Goebbels would say, "A lie repeated often enough becomes the truth."
If their cause was legitimate, they wouldn't have to knead the truth as a rule...and the rest of us wouldn't need to sift through the rhetoric for the truth.

Rudy's Ruin

Don't be fooled: Rudy Giuliani's demise can't be blamed entirely on an inept campaign strategy. Instead, it can be most directly linked to one palpable fact: He is an unashamed, social liberal.
Rudy's liberal positions on such key issues as abortion, gay marriage and gun control eventually alienated (repulsed) the conservative base of the Republican Party.
The former mayor (early on) arrogantly proclaimed that his 9/11 heroics would neutralize his leftist positions. But, as many astutely predicated--the base would never nominate a candidate who supports abortion on demand.

Red Balloon Reminder

At the Israeli consulate in NYC...across from the UN headquarters on 1st Ave....there was placed a display of 4,200 red balloons. They weren't a reminder of how red your nose can get in the frigid temps in NY, nor an early Valentine's Day reminder. The 4,200 red balloons signified the 4,200 Kassam rockets that have been fired into Israel from Gaza ever since the 2005 disengagement.
Why was such a display necessary? Well, Consulate Spokesman David Saranga stated, "Up until this day, every attempt to raise the issue and make it part of the American media's agenda has been unsuccessful."
Unless you were visually impaired, you couldn't miss it. Yet, there was not a trace of it in any NYC news outlet. Could that mean that the NYC media is visually impaired? Or rather ideologically impaired?
History proves the latter...
The NYC media partners with the world media in this: When it comes to Israel being the victim, the incident doesn't exist.
IsraelInsider.com suggests that "the explanation is beyond hate, envy, appeasement, cowardice, greed or anti-Semitism."
I agree...this phenomena is truly uncanny.

Why They're Free To Mock

It's rather ironic that those who stridently mock Christianity (the Left and their ilk) thrive under its aegis.
America is the freest nation in history, due to its Judeo-Christian underpinnings. Underpinnings that explicitly express "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."
It is these very rights that allow all of us (including the Left) not only the freedom to pursue our dreams, but to also deride a particular religion.
So, the next time the Lefties start mocking: Remind them just why they have the freedom to do so.

EU: Does 180° On Israel

A little late for a Hanukkah present, but welcome just the same...this week, the EU apologized to the State of Israel...
Need smelling salts? I did...
In a lecture sponsored by the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center, Franco Frattini, European Commissioner for Justice Freedom and Security issued a immense apology to the State of Israel on behalf of the European community for its treatment of Israel during the second Intifada.
Frattini stated, “There has been a large misunderstanding in recent years between Europe and Israel. And Israel is justified in its concerns. For too long, Europe has put too much blame on Israel for lack of peace with the Palestinians. We, as Europeans, should have understood Israel's concerns sooner.”
In a briefing to Israeli reporters Tuesday, Frattini, said that the steps leading up to the Gaza blackout cannot be construed as a war crime (as the PA was claiming) and he criticized the incessant Qassam rocket fire on Israeli civilian population centers.
The EU, back on the Christmas card list...
Frattini continued, “as friends, it was our duty to criticize when we felt criticism was needed, but we did it too often and unfairly. We asked you to take risks and often we didn’t provide you with assurances that you wouldn't stand alone if things went badly.”
But it got better...addressing the rise in European Anti-Semitism, Frattini added, “We are strongly fighting against Anti-Semitism in Europe. This kind of prejudice has no place in Europe today and never will. We will not tolerate Anti-Semitism and we take it very seriously.”
This is an amazing moment in history. A veil appears to be lifting from the eyes of Europe. Let's pray their words came from a decision of the heart and not simply for political expediency.

Respecting Life

We have just passed the anniversary of our nation's most tragic judicial decision: Roe v. Wade. But a glimmer of hope shines out of the 4th largest city in NY State...
On January 20, 2008, Phil Amicone, Mayor of Yonkers, NY, established the First Annual "Respect Life Week" in the City of Yonkers.
Kudos Mayor Amicone!
Donning The Children First Foundation's bright yellow "Choose Life" tie for the event, Mayor Amicone read his proclamation at a well-attended press conference. He ended his comments with excerpts from a newly released Proclamation by President Bush that established Sunday, January 20, 2008, as National Sanctity of Human Life Day.
As the President did to all Americans, the mayor encouraged the residents of Yonkers to remember the day "with appropriate ceremonies...to encourage adoption, fund abstinence education and crisis pregnancy programs, and support faith-based groups."
This is the courage we need displayed in our political leaders at all levels. The courage to stand up for those too weak to be heard...or defend themselves from the perniciously selfish of our society. Those that make their fortunes off the cadavers of the most innocent among us.
Yesterday was the 35th Anniversary of Roe. Fifty million abortions have been performed in America since 1973. Here's hoping the political candidates, who have not yet seen the light concerning our nation's genocide, will finally show respect for unborn American citizens, as Mayor Amicone has (are you listening Hillary, Obama & Rudy?).
For if they don't, one day they may realize...they helped kill their constituents.

Oh, That Mind-Altering Disease

Political Correctness (PC) continues to be a dangerously, mind-altering disease. It drives society to cannibalize the truth and spit out falsehoods designed to appease the most sensitive and gullible among us.
For example: According to the dictates of PC, the Crusades were a nefarious undertaking designed to expunge Islam from the face of the earth.
This falsehood has gained traction, and is preached on college campuses from coast to coast.
But the reality is: The Crusades were launched in
order to combat a growing Islamic jihad. A jihad that threatened the very existence of Europe.
Historian Bernard Lewis explains: "We are now expected to believe that the Crusades were an unwarranted act of aggression against a peaceful Muslim world. Hardly. The first papal call for a crusade occurred in 846 AD, when an Arab expedition from Sicily sailed up the Tiber and sacked St. Peter's in Rome."
Oh, that mind-altering disease.

Is Anybody Awake?

The most disturbing thing about the Mideast 'peace' campaign, that's been pushed on Israelis for decades, is that those doing the pushing (currently it's the Bush administration) have chosen to take a snooze when any facts surface that contradict their master plan.
Case in point...according to WND.com, as Israel sat down to talk peace with members of the PA recently, Abbas' Fatah military wing declared it will undertake a sequence of suicide bombings inside Israel.
In an official Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade's leaflet obtained by WND and
distributed in the West Bank, Abbas' group proclaimed, "The Al
Aqsa Martyrs Brigades calls on its members in the Gaza Strip and West Bank
to launch a series of martyrdom bombing attacks, shooting attacks and rocket
attacks in response to the Zionist escalation in Gaza."
Now, if average citizens like you and me can learn this, shouldn't our government (who has greater connections in the area) also gain access to the very same info?
The answer is unequivocally, yes. Therefore, since the White House has access, they must either be blind or...they're taking an intentional snooze.
It doesn't take a genius to see this whole 'peace' process is an effort to appease the Arab states...but sadly, at the expense of our only friends in the region: Israel.
Let's start giving the White House a wake-up call on this entire 'roadmap' sham. Write, call, email...and tell the President this is an idea that should be pushing up daisies. Better the 'roadmap' than another innocent life.
Because one more life lost, for a false promise of peace, is one life too many.

Honor Killings: The Next American Fad?

This New Year began with new hope...the hope of goals reached, of dreams realized, of new beginnings. New hope for all, except two innocent teenage sisters in Irving, TX. Amina Said, 18, and her sister Sarah, 17, who were shot to death by their father on New Year's day.
Why? Well, this Muslim father, Yaser Said, who had a history of abusing the girls, found that the girls had boyfriends. He threatened to kill the girls...and, on New Year's Day, he did.
This tradition is known as an 'honor killing'. Honor killings is the practice of murdering the female member of the family who is perceived to have stained the family honor. It is practiced in many parts of the Muslim world.
The concern for the US is the bend-over-backwards behavior of our politicians to appease Muslim groups, like CAIR, to excuse away Muslim practices and attitudes and to give special protection to Muslims. The major concern is the attitude and behavior toward women in Islam. It is misogynist at best. And it is responsible for the abuse of women, who are trapped in Islam, worldwide.
Thank G-d we have laws against these criminal acts in America. But, if our officials continue to heap accolades upon Islam, we could have a new fad sprouting throughout our great nation. One in which laws on the books are overlooked by sympathizers of the 'religion of peace'. And the story of Amina and Sarah would be common place.
We need to be on our guard against the lies perpetrated by the ignorant (and the pernicious) educating our populous about Islam. For, if we fail to do so...it will be to the detriment of us all.

Mideast 'Peace'? It's About Land-For-Hate

This week, Avigdor Lieberman, head of Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel Is Our Home) party, declared that his party is quitting the coalition government.
Why? Because He's a man of his word. He (and his party) promised, a month prior to the Annapolis conference, that "if the Olmert government commenced negotiations on *core issues, with the Palestinian Authority, we would leave the government."
Lieberman stated that the land-for-peace plan has been an incredible failure, and emphasized that the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria have nothing to do with the violence coming out of the Arab world.
And Mr. Lieberman is correct. It is not about the land. It's about the seething hatred for Jews overwhelming the Arab world. So far, the land relinquished by Israel to it's enemies has garnered Israel nothing but more hatred and violence.
Therefore, if the so-called 'land-for-peace' has resulted in land-for-hate, and this formula has had a consistent outcome...then it's not about the land. It's about the set-in-stone detestation (with genocidal tendencies) of the Jewish people by the Arab Muslim world.
So, perhaps we will see an end to this foolishness. And, since the Shas party having already mentioned that if the Yisrael Beiteinu party left the coalition government, they would do likewise...we may be headed to new elections sooner, rather than later.
Land-for-peace is an odious failure...so let's get real and start over, this time with the Arabs accepting Israel's right to exist before another word is uttered.
Yeah, I know...I'm cramping from laughter too...
*Core issues include: Jerusalem, the settlements, the Palestinian refugees, the borders, security and the water resources.

Now Is Not The Time

With Iraq pacified (thanks to Patraeus and Co.) and al Qaeda on the run--now is not the time for America to sanction a terrorist state.
But, unfortunately--that is exactly what we are doing.
A Palestinian State (which is being touted by President Bush) would be nothing more than a
den of Islamofascism bent on destroying Israel.
Why?
Because the Palestinians have never acknowledged Israel's right to exist--and never will.
And the evidence of this is irrefutable: The Palestinians have never halted their violent campaign of eradication against the Jewish State.
Now is not the time.

Why We Support A Marriage Amendment

Civilization is traditional marriage. It represents the strongest fiber in our culture's moral fabric.
Unfortunately, it has come under relentless assault by radical homosexuals (and their sympathizers) who advocate gay marriage.
And, with Massachusetts already sanctioning
such debauched matrimonies, it won't be long before such virulence metastasizes.
That is why the Ediblog supports the Marriage Amendment: It is, without hesitation--the only viable way to preserve traditional marriage.

Building A Legacy On Israel's Grave

On January 9, 2008, a monumental event occurred. An American President made his first visit, of his 7 year presidency, to the Holy Land. But that's not what was so significant...it was that this president brought one of the greatest disgraces upon his countryman (aside from Bill Clinton)...
This was the first time an American President made his mission coercion of Israelis toward a bogus peace treaty with its bloodthirsty, terrorist enemy...with all the pressure upon Israel and none upon the terrorists.
From the moment Mr. Bush stepped off the plane at Ben Gurion International Airport, he was bullying the Shas party, which vowed to step down from the Olmert coalition government if any deals were made with 'Palestinian' leader Abbas. Olmert had previously made it clear that he was willing to give control of the Temple Mount (the holiest place in Judaism) to Abbas in a peace deal.
Talk about unmitigated chutzpah!
I thought Bill Clinton's repugnant sexual escapades, while on the public dole, was the most disgraceful behavior an American president has ever exhibited. But this takes the sponge cake...
I am embarrassed and ashamed by Mr. Bush's bullying of our only true friends in the Middle East. And I am appalled and perplexed by Mr. Bush's arrogant stance against the Judeo/Christian Scriptures.
President Bush's actions are selfish and self-serving. His goal is to craft a birthright for himself, at Israel's peril. But Mr. Bush can be sure of this: G-d will not allow the graves of innocent Israelis to be the foundation of a Bush legacy.
And history has proven...G-d always wins.

Egypt: Angry Like Criminals

It is a well-established fact that Egypt has allowed weapons to pour over its borders into Gaza to murder innocent Israelis. But don't let Egypt know you know...or they'll get angry...
Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni made the 'mistake' of mentioning it and calling it “deplorable and problematic." Mistake, I say, because Egypt didn't like it.
Israel also sent videotapes to Washington showing Egyptian security forces helping the terrorist group Hamas smuggle weapons across the Sinai border into Gaza.
Egypt didn't like that either. And they're angry...
Why, you ask? Because exposure of these facts caused the US Congress to send President Bush a foreign aid bill that withholds $100 million of Egypt’s yearly military aid of $1.3 billion. And it will remain so until Sec. of State Rice confirms that Egypt has acted sufficiently to stop the arms smuggling.
Yes, Egypt is angry. Not at themselves for doing wrong, but at Israel for exposing their dirty deeds. Angry for getting caught...and the consequences those deeds have produced.
Hey...don't criminals get angry for the same reason? Hmm...

Obama: The Empty 'Present'

After all the presents under the tree have been opened on Christmas morning, it looks pretty sad and empty. So to give that faux full feeling again, some people place beautifully wrapped empty boxes beneath the tree until it is taken down after New Year's.
Presidential candidate Barak Hussein Obama is just like one of those empty presents...
Always dressed to the nines, a gilded orator and given the gift topper of 'anointing' by Queen Oprah...it's a pretty package.
But peak inside the package and you find Sen. Obama brings nothing of substance to the table. He is inexperienced and unaccomplished and that's what America would find when they opened that 'gift', if (G-d forbid) he should be elected to the White House. That kind of 'empty' contents is just enough to endanger our democracy.
The Presidency is far too important to be entrusted to a neophyte...because he has been packaged to impress.
A caveat to all voters: This empty 'present' can do a whole lot of damage to the receivers, if they're foolish enough to open it.

Huckabee: Not A Prime Time Player

Look beyond Mike Huckabee's folksy oratory
and you will find a foreign policy neophyte.
When confronted with questions about America's role in the world, the former governor told the Des Moines Register “You treat others the way you’d like to be treated. That’s to me the fundamental issue that has to be re-established in our dealings with other countries.”
Huckabee has also advocated that (due to cynical world opinion) the US should close Gitmo. And, while on MSNBC last January, he demonstrated his ambivalence about the Surge, "Well, I'm not sure that I support the troop surge, if that surge has to come from our Guard and Reserve troops, which have really been overly stretched."
These musings clearly demonstrate that, in an exceedingly complex and dangerous world, Mike Huckabee is not a prime time player.

Hopefully Our Leader Will Finally Get It

Washington may be playing down President Bush's visit to Israel, but Israel isn't...
Billboards are going up throughout Israel reminding our president Who owns the land, and to whom He has given the land...
...and the posters are right on. Even the Brits recognized the Biblical claim of the Jewish people to the land of Israel in the Balfour Declaration of 1917. Then surely President Bush, claiming to be a believer in the very same Scriptures, knows that Israel was given to the Jews by G-d, right?
Apparently not.
Why? Because the sum of his words and actions, since he has been in office, reveal that he does NOT believe what the Judeo-Christian Bible says about the land of Israel or the Jewish people.
A truly tragic situation for Jews around the globe...and for the United States.
Let's pray that the president's eyes will be opened while in the Holy Land...if not by this widely published message, then by the Owner Himself.

Our next president must be devoted to the arduous (and necessary) task of prosecuting the War on Terror. Which includes total victory in Iraq.
Candidates like Obama and Clinton (who are beholden to leftist ideologues like George Soros) are more concerned with appeasing the UN and EU (which includes an immediate end to the war in Iraq) than fighting Islamofascism.
And that makes them not only dangerous, but also clearly unfit for the title of Commander-in- Chief.
In the final analysis: Our next president must be an adult.

NH: Hating America By Hating Civil Society

In the words of The Geneva Declaration—“the natural human family is established by the Creator” and “inscribed in human nature.” And that "natural" human family is the marriage of one man to one woman as the first and essential social bond, the foundation of a civil society.
But New Hampshire ostensibly knows better than the Creator...
In a civil unions law enacted by the Democrat-dominated Legislature early in 2007, and signed by NH Democratic Gov. John Lynch, same sex couples are now allowed the same rights, responsibilities and obligations of marriage without calling the union a marriage.
Nothing like saying 'Happy New Year' by expectorating in the face of civil society.
In a supposed effort of dispensing 'equal rights' to those preferring the unnatural choice of performing sex with a member of their own gender, these confused and perverse lawmakers have imposed a state of equity with normal married couples. Once solidified, allowing these 'couples' to marry will seem the next 'natural' step.
Nice job 'Granite State'...why not just take a sledgehammer to the building blocks of human culture?
New Hampshire's motto is: "Live Free Or Die." I guess New Hampshirians (New Hampshirites?) have chosen the latter.

Religious Left's Plans For Israel

It is clear where conservative Christians stand on the future of the Holy Land...they stand with the Judeo-Christian Bible, which is unequivocal on Who [G-d] owns the land, and to whom [the Jewish people] He has given the land.
But it appears that liberal Christians have a 'better' idea for Israel...
In their July 27, 2007 letter to the President, the Evangelicals For Social Change (ESC) asserted moral equivalence between Israel and the Palestinians:
“Both Israelis and Palestinians have committed violence and injustice against each other. The only way to bring the tragic cycle of violence to an end is for Israelis and Palestinians to negotiate a just, lasting agreement that guarantees both sides viable, independent, secure states.”
Their belief is that the Bible stands for 'justice', and it does. But the justice these lefties are promoting is a perverted, compromised justice that purports to know better than G-d, who should control Israel.
“We believe that the way forward is for the Israelis and Palestinians to negotiate a fair, two-state solution.”
But the Owner has given the land to the Jewish people, not to be divvied-up in exchange for peace.
ESC's misguided logic in their "Evangelical Statement On Israel/Palestine" reveals their true ignorance concerning the facts on the ground. The statement that 'palestinian' "youth who have no economic opportunity–are increasingly sympathetic to radical solutions and terrorism" is a conclusion based upon a lack of information.
The 'palestinian' youth have been brainwashed since toddler-hood that the land of Israel was stolen from the 'palestinians' by Jewish infidels. And that they ['palestinian' youth] should be willing to give up their very lives to eradicate the Jews from the land. The 'radical solutions and terrorism' are simply their childhood teachings coming to fruition.
As this New Year unfolds, it's vital that true evangelicals (those that stand with the Jewish people) are familiar with the individual they intend voting into office. Because if the candidate being considered is a friend of the ESC, it will spell doom for Israel and Jews everywhere.
