Olmert: Hope The Door Hits You In The Tuchis
May 29, 2008
On Wednesday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak called for Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to remove himself from office.
A voice of reason.
Barak said:
“I don't think the prime minister can at the same time lead the government and handle his own affairs. Therefore, acting out of concern for the good of the country, and for fitting norms, I believe the prime minister must disconnect himself from the day-to-day running of the government.”
But there are many more reasons this man should vacate the office of PM, including the shame he has brought upon the second greatest military in the world (the US being the first). His micromanaging of the second Lebanon War allowed the fierce IDF to be viewed as weak in the eyes of the Arab world...which endangered Israeli national security.
How Olmert was able to slither into the office of PM is still puzzling to me...but the fact that he still remains in the position is tragic.
Let's hope that the Israeli people will heed the words of Ehud Barak and call for Olmert's departure.
And I hope the door hits him in the tuchis on the way out.
Shalom.

Syria Wants Pieces, Not Peace
May 23, 2008
Things are getting quite desperate for Israeli PM Olmert. His rush to talk with Israeli's enemy to the north (Syria) appears (as former PM Netanyahu suggests) to be a ploy to distract the public from the parade of corruption investigations that are upon him.
Nice try, but no cigar...
The majority of Israelis realize how pernicious an act it would be to make so-called 'peace' with Syria, especially by giving up the Golan Heights. The Golan Heights are a necessary part of Israel and vital for its security and protection. Olmert apparently expressed his eagerness to live up to his end of the deal (Israel withdrawing from the Golan) if Syria would “gradually dissolve its alliances with Iran, Hizbullah and the Palestinian terror organizations and stop funding and promoting terror”.
Let me see, is that like giving up the Gaza strip so Israel would have peace with the 'palestinians'? Sounds like a plan...NOT!
Syria wants peace with Israel like the Hatfields wanted peace with the McCoys. Their surreptitious development of nuclear weapons (which Israel interrupted) was one clue of their desire for peace.
Pieces, not peace, are what Syria wants with Israel. And if Olmert makes this deadly deal...Assad will be more than happy to set up another Gaza-style 'neighborhood' with the same range of 'peace'.
Shalom.

Jews Inciting Anti-Semitism?
May 22, 2008
With the rise of anti-Semitism in the world today, you must wonder why Orthodox Jews would commit acts they themselves would decry if they were committed against them. But go figure...
It was reported that on May 15th, Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon of the Shas Party, prompted by complaints of the distribution of New Testaments in Or Yehuda, got into a loudspeaker car and drove around the neighborhood encouraging people to turn over the material to Jewish religious students who collected it door to door. The books were then dumped into a pile and set on fire.
In this day and age, you must ask why such intelligent people could commit such a foolish act. Surely the Mayor had to know there would be a backlash.
Well, this week Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon spoke to the Jerusalem Post and apologized to Christians worldwide, stating that he hoped the incident would not provoke tensions between Jews and Christians.
Too late, sir...the damage is already done.
Don't we have enough anti-Jewish hatred globally that we need the brethren committing such ignorant and egregious acts as this?
The greatest supporters of the Jewish State are evangelical Christians. Was it smart to take a chance of offending them? Would he have slapped his constituents in the face and expect their vote?
Calev Myers, a lawyer representing Messianic Jews in Israel said this about the incident:
"Israelis have to understand something: Messianic Jews here have strong ties to American evangelical Christians, and there are hundreds of millions of people in the world who see the burning of the New Testament as a very serious issue. The New Testament is believed in by hundreds of millions of people. It is not in Israel's national interest to allow the burning of their holy book."
Mr. Myers is correct. The Jewish State and the Jewish people (my people) have been the victims of hatred for centuries. Is it smart to provoke our friends and feed the hatred of our enemies? This type of brutish behavior is a shandeh un a charpeh*...and should never be what people think of when they think of Jews.
The participants from Or Yehuda and the Shas Party should consider letting the world see the good deeds of the Jewish people, instead of bringing shame upon us all.
Shalom.
*A shame and a disgrace.

Obama: Our Greatest National Security Risk
May 21, 2008
In a campaign appearance Monday night, Sen. Obama made abundantly clear that he is not ready to be President of these United States...
The man ' who would be king' stated unequivocally that Iran "don't pose a serious threat to the U.S." and if Iran "tried to pose a serious threat to us they wouldn't stand a chance."
Sen. McCain answered this best when he said, "Such a statement betrays the depth of Senator Obama's inexperience and reckless judgment. These are very serious deficiencies for an American president to possess."
Bingo! Obama's ignorant statement not only reveals his "inexperience and reckless judgment" but it also reveals that Obama is a security risk our country cannot afford, following 9-11.
This statement in Oregon is on top of his comments in Atlantic Magazine where he felt that Hamas' support of him was "perfectly legitimate."
If America is to remain safe from another 9-11 style attack, we cannot afford for Sen. Obama to step anywhere near Pennsylvania Avenue, unless he's on a tour.
Obama's Oregon comment makes it unequivocal: He is our greatest national security risk!

Still Disconnected Or Just Plain Stupid
May 19, 2008
Coming upon the 7th anniversary of 9-11, most Americans should be able to say with confidence that our FBI and CIA are now communicating and are on the job sniffing out terrorists and their ilk. But this couldn't be further from the truth...
A Lebanese national, Nada Prouty, was employed by both the FBI and the CIA. She has confessed to having searched FBI files for information on investigations linked to the terrorist group Hezbollah. Was she assigned, as part of her FBI duties, to work on Hezbollah cases? No.
According
to FrontpageMag.com, the information Prouty searched for included those
of two accused Hezbollah operatives in the
Prouty also took the opportunity to search the files for what information the Feds had on her (she had an awful lot of time on her hands).
Some agents suspected her of being a Hezbollah mole. But apparently these suspicions were ignored by FBI leadership.
Prouty's current husband is a State Department employee (Gordon Prouty) who's held sensitive positions in Middle Eastern embassies. How convenient. Her first marriage, to a Michigan man in 1990,was a sham and enabled her to get US citizenship which helped her secure jobs with the FBI and CIA. She is an illegal alien.
Before landing these jobs, she was a...waitress in her brother-in-laws restaurant. Nice promotion.
So, for her terrorist activities she was given a whopping $750 fine and NO jail time! That should be quite a deterrent for other jihadists making plans inside our republic.
Now, any self-respecting department would feel great shame for having been fooled again after their pernicious failure on 9-11. But not these guys...CIA officials, have since praised Prouty as a great agent and articulated interest in hiring her again.
You have to wonder...are these guys still disconnected to the facts...or just plain stupid.
I'm not wondering...I'm worrying.

Just A Wee Bit Self-Centered And Paranoid
May 16, 2008
I love good entertainment, especially a good laugh...and it's getting easier to find one. Just sit back, grab some popcorn and watch Obama expose more of his true character...
President Bush made a comment, which applied to many foolish people in our republic, but the self-absorbed (and a wee bit paranoid) presidential candidate B. Hussein Obama was sure it was meant for him and reacted with the typical liberal battle cry: Wah, wah, wah...they're picking on me!
Speaking to Israel's Knesset during a visit to celebrate Israel's 60th Birthday, President Bush said:
"Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along....We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is - the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history."
Now I personally can name a few people who hold this perniciously ignorant and moronic view, but B. Hussein knows it's all about him (isn't everything?).
The President is right on. Our republic is replete with fools that are unable to comprehend the mindset of the enemies of freedom...and if Obama wants to identify himself as one, I won't refute it.
A fool is fun at the circus or in a sitcom, but allowing a fool to run the greatest nation on the earth is not funny...and (G-d forbid) with Obama at the helm, this nation would be donning a big red nose...and the terrorists (Obama's fans) will be happy to accommodate us with the exploding shoes.

Swiss Say: Don't Steam But Esteem Your Escarole
May 15, 2006
Yes that's right...the Swiss tell us it's time to show respect for our veggies...
According to the Weekly Standard, a few years ago the Swiss added a provision to their national constitution requiring "account to be taken of the dignity of creation when handling animals, plants and other organisms." The Swiss Federal Ethics Committee on Non-Human Biotechnology explained the provision with a report, "The Dignity of Living Beings with Regard to Plants."
WOW...It's almost like getting hit on the head in a cartoon and having stars circling it like a halo...
I guess when you have a history of remaining neutral (or you don't have the spine to stand up for anyone but yourself), you're apt to be confused by what should be respected. (Here's a clue: Organisms that need manure thrown on them to grow are not it.)
The Swiss Federal Ethics Committee on Non-Human Biotechnology offered an illustration:
A farmer mows his field. But then, while walking home, he casually "decapitates" some wildflowers with his scythe ("decapitating" the flowers is apparently immoral). At this point it remains unclear whether this action is condemned because it expresses a particular moral stance of the farmer toward other organisms or because something bad is being done to the flowers themselves.
Decapitates? These people have way too much time on their hands.
In order to understand life and all its elements, one must acquaint oneself with the Creator of life. He and He alone can impart wisdom and understanding about His creation...and I can guarantee that if the Swiss take some time to seek the Creator, they will no longer be paying obeisance to daffodils...or tiptoeing around the tulips.
So, hey...go ahead and steam those veggies...that's what they're there for!

Obama: Hamas Support "Perfectly Legitimate"
May 14, 2008
It all began last month when Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef told WABC radio Hamas hopes Obama will win the presidential election and change America's foreign policy.
And now it appears Obama has no problem with this endorsement at all...
Obama told the Atlantic magazine:
"It's conceivable that there are those in the Arab world who say to themselves, 'This is a guy who spent some time in the Muslim world, has a middle name of Hussein and appears more worldly and has called for talks with people, and so he's not going to be engaging in the same sort of cowboy diplomacy as George Bush...that's a perfectly legitimate perception..."
Now this statement is puzzling in light of the fact that Obama severed ties with a Middle East policy adviser (Robert Malley). Why? Because Malley advocated negotiations with Hamas and was dismissed after divulging to the Times of London that he had been in regular contact with the group in concurrence with his work to create a conflict resolution think tank.
Wait a minute...I thought Hamas was cool with Obama? Which is it?
Obama is a dangerous man. Oh his oration is unctuous and he pours on the charm when necessary, but he is willing to accept the support of terrorists and have an advisor work with them (surreptitiously) in order to make our "policies" more to their liking...(until that advisor gets caught).
If the enemy of my enemy is my friend, then it would follow that the friend of my enemy is my enemy...and I guess that would include Obama.

Are We Inspiring Hezbollah?
May 12, 2008
This past Saturday (May 10th), the Syrian and Iranian backed terrorist group Hezbollah seized control of several western Beirut neighborhoods creating street battles utilizing heavy weaponry in a display called "hellish" by witnesses.
Hezbollah is on the move again...
So, what has inspired and emboldened these violent vermin to begin moving toward another war? Let's examine the facts...
A weak Israeli government led by a pandering PM who would give his own family members to the enemy if it would make him look good on the world stage.
The US government acting like a gadfly circling Israel's head about surrendering more land for a false peace with Israel's enemies.
Olmert's success in making the IDF look weak to its enemies (an important incentive for Muslims to conquer Israel).
Olmert's reluctance, by US pressure, to retaliate as Israel's enemies attack its citizenry.
Here's a reminder: Hezbollah was the terrorist group that killed 241 Marines on a peacekeeping mission in Beirut, as they slept, in 1983. They killed the head of the Marine Corps in Beirut. They killed the head of the CIA in Beirut. They also bombed the US embassy in Beirut. So, our government should do everything within its power to deter and destroy Hezbollah.
But apparently, we haven't.
The actions of our State Dept. (with regards to Israel and the PA), emanating from the President, are sending a deadly message of encouragement to Hezbollah...and in doing so, to their supporters, that the US is as weak as it was on Sept. 10, 2001.
And in essence...we are motivating our murderers to continue to kill (i.e. look at Lebanon).
Are we inspiring Hezbollah? You don't need to be a military analyst to answer that.

As Long As We Tolerate, Terror Will Proliferate
May 8, 2008
There is no question that our government's persistent interference in the Middle East conflict has been emboldening terrorists...
Our (US) sole coercion has been upon Israel. Turning a complete blind eye to the daily rocket bombardment by Hamas upon innocent Israeli citizens has been of no concern or consequence to the Bush administration. Residents of Sderot live in fear and are now faced with privation due to the unrelenting attacks upon their homes and lives.
But does this dissuade Sec. Rice and the pro-Arab State Dept. from their mission? Nah. They easily ignore terror attacks by Hamas because it might interfere with their desire to please the Arab street (not to mention the fruition Bush's desired legacy).
When we (US) ignore terrorists and pressure the victims to negotiate with the very terrorists committing the acts, everyone loses. Because there's nothing Muslims respect less than weakness...and if you're a party to that perception...you lose.
A word to the wise (or those who desire to be): As long as we tolerate, terror will proliferate.

The Company You Keep
May 7, 2008
"Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character." 1 Corinthians 15:33
Bill Ayers stomping on the American Flag
Bill Ayers Facts:
Bill Ayers is an unrepentant Weatherman Underground leader (the Weathermen aka the Weather Underground Organization, was an American radical left group formed in 1969...and was placed on FBI ten most wanted list in 1970 for terrorist activities.)
Ayers enjoyed the bombs he and his fellow revolutionaries set off to protest American “imperialism” and the war in Vietnam. “I don’t regret setting bombs...I feel we didn’t do enough.”
Ayers is a fan of Ho Chi Minh, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, Mao Tse-tung, et al.
Obama had a relationship with Bill Ayers in recent past Hyde Park politics. His campaign is reticent to expand on this relationship. But any connection with an unrepentant terrorist is disturbing.
Obama has had a 20 year relationship with one vitriolic, anti-American racist (Wright)...and adding the miscreant Bill Ayers to this huddle can only cause intelligent Americans to question the content of Obama's character...by the company he keeps.

No Legacy Is Worth That
May 5, 2008
I guess the daily destruction, injuries and deaths are just not enough to keep the President from sending his political forces, in the person of Sec. Rice, back again to twist Israel's arm just a little further until they scream "Uncle."
What an appalling way to gain a legacy.
Sec. Rice met again with Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak to insist upon the removal of more Israeli checkpoints in Judea and Samaria, you know...the areas meant to hinder the movement of terrorists that have murdered thousands of Israelis.
So let me see, that would be like citizens pressuring law enforcement to remove any speeding and DUI checkpoints, you know...points established to protect innocent civilians from dangerous behavior.
Oh, come on...
When is this lunacy going to cease? The President needs to take a pause here. I don't believe he's considering all the consequences. Pres. Bush is a compassionate man. I don't believe he really wants the blood of one innocent Israel on his hands...and that's exactly what he will have if he continues this legacy campaign upon Israel.
Joel 3:2 states, “I will enter into judgment with them [all the nations who]…have divided up My Land.”
There are consequences for dividing G-d's land...and none of them are good. Widespread destruction and devastation again upon the Jews. Hatred will be cultivated in the Muslim and other anti-Semitic segments globally. And innocent Jewish lives will be destroyed.
No legacy is worth that.
Shalom.

Rep. Sue "Moxie" Myrick: As Patriotic As They Come
May 2, 2008
Sadly, almost 7 years following the most devastating terror attack on our sod, there are few in congress who care enough about the safety of our precious citizenry to do what one from the "Tar Heel State" is willing to do...
This month, Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC) released a 10 point list she hopes will reveal how radical elements of Islam might be infiltrating the military, schools and other segments of American society.
Among her sagacious suggestions is one point that should be a no-brainer:
Bet you didn't know that our government never halted the scholarship student visa program with Saudi Arabia, despite the fact that 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers were...you guessed it: Saudis!
I think it's time for a conga line...and every representative needs to get in line behind Rep. Myrick. Because Congress needs to remember that we're watching them and they need to 'dance with the one who brung ya'...and the dance begins again this November.

One 'Burning Man'? Hamas Has 200,000 Of Them
May 1, 2008
Black Rock Nevada may have its pagan 'Burning Man' every year, but the terrorist group Hamas promises it has 200,000 religious burning men ready to destroy Israel for Allah...
That's Hamas' threat if Israel rejects the Egyptian initiative for a truce with the 'Palestinians '. "If Israel says no, it will pay a heavy price," said Mahmoud Zahar, a senior Hamas official in the Gaza Strip. "We are a besieged people and we will have to use all our tools to defend ourselves against Israel."
So we have the US government on one side pressuring Israel to surrender and comply with the PA's demands via Egypt...and part of the PA government (Hamas) on the other side promising to send a few hundred thousand suicide bombers to force Israel to accept a hudna (temporary truce).
Sounds equitable to me.
Instead of holding the fuse for this group of flaming fiends, it would serve our country better to extinguish this conflagration before it comes back to singe us in the 'you know what'.
Shalom.
